FUE:

Folliculat Unit Extraction Hair Transplant
FUE is a procedure that involves removing intact hair follicles from the area of the scalp where the hair has not yet grown too strongly. These follicles will be transplanted to the area that is balding. This allows the patient to grow their hair naturally and form new roots.
Follicular Unit Extract is the process of removing individual follicular unit from the donor area with a hollow needle called a punch. After being carefully prepared, the units are placed into the scalp. The follicular hair unit harvested using the punch tool is not damaged and they are immune to the hormone DHT, which causes hair loss. This guarantees that the treatment will be successful.
A healthy follicular unit (also known as a hair transplant) is the foundation for hair growth.
A follicular (graft) unit is a grouping of between 1-4 hairs that is centred and close together. The human scalp hair is not typically made from many individual hairs, but rather is organized in small clumps (follicular unit).
These units can be removed during hair transplantation and used to create a natural hair style. A scalp strip can be used to remove follicular units and then transplant them again. This is FUT (Follicular Unit Transplant), a traditional technique. However, it is less common as it can cause scarring to the donor area.

Q Will transplanted hair fall out?

Although the transplanted hair will be lost in a few days, it will still grow right after.

Q Is the surgery painful?

Local anesthesia is used to perform the surgery. This means that almost everything is not felt during the actual operation, except for the anesthesia step. This pain can also be decreased by %70 with needle-free anesthesia.

Q Will I have scars after hair transplant?

FUE is a minimally invasive method for hair transplantation. The donor area is treated with very small stitches that are often almost indistinctible to the naked eye after healing.

Q How many grafts can be transplanted in one session?

In one session, we can transplant up 3500 grafts (in one day).
