Hair transplantation is performed at Hair Turkey every day since 2005. It is under the supervision of the most up-to-date Technologies and plastic surgeons.

FUE:

FUE stands for Follicular Unit Extraction FUE. FUE stands for Follicular Unit Extraction. It refers to the “taking out of hair follicles” one by one from the back (donor area). Specialists used to take hair follicles out in large quantities as strips. This can cause scarring at the donor area (back of the head). It was also difficult to separate hair follicles from the strips and place them on top of the head (receiving area). Scientists used to place the hair follicles in large numbers. Scientists lost many hair follicles in this process because they were not sitting in cells. The results weren’t so good.

All of these things have been changed by FUE technology. FUE technique does not cause scarring and there is no loss in hair follicles.

Q How many grafts can you implant and which areas do you consider as donor areas ?

Although we mainly place 2500-3000 grafts, some patients have required us to implant 4000-4500 units. The majority of the grafts are done from the back. Sometimes, chest hair may also be used. The FUE operation involves shaving the head.

Q How long does the operation last ?

The procedure takes approximately 4-5 hours. During this time, the patient may watch movies or read magazines.

Q How long to stay in Istanbul ?

The patient must stay in Istanbul for three days. The consultation is on the first day, followed by the operation. The return trip is on the third day. The clinic offers a private room and a bath for patients. Three meals a day were provided to the patient.
